Frogs in February!

Can you tell your pickerel frog from your leopard frog? Your bulls from your greens? Is that a chorus frog or just a pissed-off peeper?

On Friday February 26th, the Delaware Valley Herpetological Society will be holding a public meeting featuring Ned Gilmore of the Academy of Natural Sciences talking about the frogs of the lower Delaware Valley. We'll be back in Marple, PA (more details and directions forthcoming) and the tentative start time is 8pm.

This is a great chance to bone up on your frog familiarity as we head into the amphibian breeding season, which should (let's keep those fingers crossed) break only a week or two after the meeting.
