A few weeks ago I got an interesting request - for a guest post on a UK Reptile Forum website called, fittingly, Reptile Forums, UK. It's a lovely website with great discussions and advice about keeping reptiles and amphibians as pets, but my assignment was to lay out the thrills of herping to a crowd that might not play with wild frogs and snakes very often. I enjoyed it. It was definitely a nice tease for herp keepers about how much fun it can be to actually get out into the field.
Your knowledge and love of herping is one reason I come here. But you are also a very gifted, natural writer. Thanks for this site.
